I know that my sister uses coupons to save money. She has created a system so that she saves money each month on groceries and other useful, disposable household items.
Cars can sometimes be expensive, especially gasoline. If you have a car that takes regular gas then get the cheapest gas available. Don't get the Premium Power gas that is very expensive.
To save money, instead of eating out when we travel to high school rodeos we pack refilled bottles of water and peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches for the weekend.
Some good ways to make money stretch farther is to know your limits. Know how much money you can spend on what you need. Also if you can afford something you really want but don't need and it uses up most of your extra money, then do not buy it. Also look for better prices on the items that you want to buy.
One simple way to make money strech a little further would be to trun off the lights in a room when you are not using them, or to unplug anything that you are not using at the moment. It helps save money on your electricity bill and saves energy.
My tips to save money would be to spend on my car payment, which if I pay more into it, the more my parents will give me for college, so the more I pay now, the better off I will be later. Also, if im giving my friends rides around, I will charge them for gas, plus a little extra, just so I can get more out of it. But i wont be unreasonable.
I put all my change, leaving the pennies out since they are separate accounted for, in a thing and i never take anything out of it. When it gets full i take it to the bank and have about fifty dollars worth each time and shove it all in my savings. along with putting twenty percent of each paycheck into savings also.

When we go on vacation to our condo in St.George instead of eating out the whole time my mom always packs a cooler full of stuff from home and then goes grocery shopping while we are down there. It saves a lot.
A money saving strategy that i have learned is, instead of buying books that i want to read, i just got a library card. I can use it anytime i want, for free!!
only buy things that you really need and shop around for awhile to find the best buy. and if your buying something that is going to be used a lot, don't be cheap buy a more expensive item that way you will not have to buy another one soon after
When your driving your car, only drive to the areas you have to. Also Make sure you go to the furthest point first then on the way back go to the other placed you need. It saves on time and gas.
Pay for necessities before you buy unnessesary things. Buy things around your residence like if you live in Roosevelt, shop in roosevelt. If people would do that the money would go back into America and we would help America. Another thing to help people stretch money is put your money into a bank to gain intrest

To help me save money i put all my money into my savings at the bank right after i get my check or cash or watever. And if i think i might end up spending it anyway i put it in my other account that i cant get the money out of until im nineteen.

how to keep your money going further, is by being responsible, if people ask you for money don't do it, when your in a bind like payments wise make your payment or you will loose your good credit and then you cant really get nice things
